Our Dog Ear packs are as sustainable as possible. Whether it’s the material they are made out of, or the method we use to make them. We care about slow making over mass production. 

We set up Dog Ear as an alternative to throw-away mass-produced toys. Our sculptural dog toys are made in the most sustainable way possible, with love. With our tug toy kit you will be able to make your own handwoven tender tug toy to gift to your hound, also with love.

We’ve worked with dog trainers and experts to make sculptural toys that doggos love, with expert testers Poly and Woolf trying them out.

As artists we want these kits to encourage creativity and sustainable making. Each kit comes with a mini publication for humans to read. We make, print and package everything in-house at our studio using an environmentally friendly risograph machine and recycled materials. We do all our printing of packaging and publications in house, by hand, at our studio The Old Waterworks on a risograph which uses a soya based ink on recycled paper.



Offcut fleece materials which we have saved from landfill in a variety of patterns and colours to create your own unique dog toy artwork. It is super soft and stretchy, but strong!). All our packaging, and printed materials, are compostable.



When you have created your toy it will be perfect for tender tugs alongside catching and fetching fun! The toy is pretty tough for rebel doggos and the weaves are also perfect for hiding treats in as a brain activity to enrich your hound.

Please ensure this toy is suitable for your pet’s play preferences, chewing habits and size. No toy is completely indestructible and always keep an eye on your dog when they are playing.

The fleece materials is hand or machine washable. Save the tutorial guide in case a rebel doggo manages to cleverly undo the toy! Remember, you can always re-make.
